Beach Bum
I went to the beach today. It was hot, and when I say hot I mean the fires of hell have breached the surface. But I have this save-me-from-skin-cancer-tent (Jen you'll appreciate this), think of a camping tent, cut it in half, slather it with some kind of layer of spf 50 and WALLA. We own the same thing.
So thank goodness for that. Although it didnt save me from my niece who wanted me out from under it in the smoldering (big word!) heat. Building sand castles, wading in water, watching the japanese return to the beach although theyre burnt RED from the day before. Kurukurupa!
Chiquito kept following me into the water, tiring himself out, to which I had to save him and carry him. For some reason he doesn't listen to Gloria. And I think he only does it so I can carry him.
Look Keith, your mark is left on the sands of Guam.
I'm sunburnt. And to think that summer before you went back to William and Mary Jen, the summer we spent trying to get you a tan. I thought that would make me immune to this stuff forever. So wrong. So burned. I actually need to go put on some aloe vera now.
Happy summering.
